Classic car specialist since 1986, The Vehicle Restoration Co specializes in Triumph Stag restoration, along with a focus on British classic cars and motorbikes from 1945 to 1980. Founded in February 1986 by Tim Collins in a workshop located in Middleton On Sea, West Sussex, the company emerged from Tim’s passion for restoring classic cars and motorbikes, which began at the age of 14 with his family. After completing his apprenticeship, Tim honed his skills restoring classic cars both in the UK and abroad (Canada & USA), working on prestigious projects involving brands like Triumph, Rover, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin, and Jaguar. Tim Collins continues to own and operate the business, proudly celebrating over 40 years in the industry. Uniquely, we possess a purpose-built Triumph Stag Hardtop Jig, allowing us to restore Triumph Stag hardtops to 'as new' condition for export across the UK and worldwide.
